Shanghai Zendai

The Zendai Group was founded by its current Chairman, Mr. Dai Zhikang, in 1992 and is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. After many years of rapid growth Zendai has become an integrated investment company involved in three main business areas: Real Estate Development, Tourism, and Finance. These are supplemented by business interests in energy resources, information technology and creative industries. The Zendai group holds assets worth RMB 5 billion and currently employs more than 7,200 people globally.

Real Estate Development

Zendai has become a comprehensive development force in commercial real estate and has exceptional international construction, operations and administration systems; overseen by a dedicated team. Prominent examples of its commercial successes include: Thumb Plaza (a national brand developed by Zendai and the first community-based commercial centre in Shanghai, which has become one of the most successful business models in real estate development); and The Himalayas Centre (which has become a new landmark in Shanghai and was awarded the China Central Television ‘Designing for China’ Award).
